@Edent Lots of good to be said about it but the "every page sparks joy" review on the cover hadn't prepared me for several traumas in the first 100 pages. The one that seemed to have the least plot-driving purpose was the sudden, almost in-passing, inclusion of a gay teen suicide that was barely mentioned again. I had to put the book down for a bit.
