I am going to be going on one of the longest hikes I have done in ages this weekend as we complete the last leg of the Viking Way.
I know it is going to be hot, but I figure that if the Vikings did it wearing big helmets, armour and heavy sheepskin clothing then I should be ok.

It was super hot for the final 14 miles of the Viking Way (which, ironically, was to the *start* of the VW), but we set off super early, had plenty of water, and survived
