It has been an absolute privilege to scale out user-centred design at NHS Digital over the past 3.5 years, and especially to see high-performing multidisciplinary teams deliver for the nation at pace as part of the covid-19 response
I'm moving on with the assurance that our user-centred design leadership is stronger than ever. Our graduate trainees are already injecting fresh perspectives and challenging us to go further in our commitment to inclusion
My move means we're looking for the right person to lead the next chapter for product and design at NHS Digital. This is an immense opportunity to improve health outcomes for people in England, with products and services that put users first

The new job means a change of organisation for me, but I'm not going far. Most patients and frontline staff don't see which national organisation does what. They simply expect us to work together as one team, and part of a wider community united by our principles
