I keep seeing these people pop up in “ex pat” (hate that term) groups here in Portugal. Mate, Brexit was in the news and stuff.

They're saying they had no communication from the Swedish government about what they were supposed to do and by when. So I can see their pov.
@mackaj I don’t actually believe them, because the people doing the same shit in Portugal say the same thing.
What they actually mean is, “I ignored every attempt by everyone involved to help me regularise my status”.
@mackaj And there are Facebook groups for British immigrants. There are always Facebook groups. They always have step by step guides.
These people ignore them.
Yeah I can definitely see people taking that attitude. If they did then serves them right.
One thing I found highly amusing were online accounts of "ex-pats" who voted for Brexit, then got stung by it and were shocked later that it actually affected them.
