Wow, the season has turned quickly. After two weeks of sun and warm, I've woken up this morning to wind, dull skies, drizzle and a noticeable drop in temperature 
Winter jacket needed today
@kevie here it's been raining nonstop all autumn. 
@kevie@mastodon.me.uk@basil out summer lasted for the past two weeks, that has been all of the dry weather that we have had. Worst May-August in my living memory 
@kevie NE England had a hellishly wet spring. Summer was probably slightly drier than average but not particularly sunny or warm. So it took months for the ground to dry out.
