"Drift" - a collaborative piece by Sanna and me. Currently on display as part of Convenience Gallery's Open Exhibition in Birkenhead. Sanna crocheted this giant jelly from colourful recycled carrier bags (also used for the seaweed - heat pressed and laser cut). Inspired by the underwater scenes painted by Ron in the bathroom at Ron's Place.
The sea anemone is made from polypropylene left over from the @DoESLiverpool visor project during COVID.

Sanna has provided a selection of materials to reuse (colourful plastic packaging, salvaged yarns, drinks bottles,... so that visitors can create their own sea creatures to add to the display during the exhibition.
The exhibition is open Thursdays and Fridays until August 30th at the former Marks and Spencer in Birkenhead and features 60 artists - well worth visiting.
