Can any Wordpress folks give me some advice? I don't like my website reaching out to Gravatar to provide a profile picture; both for myself when I post and for anyone else using my website. Is it possible to stop this? And if so, is it possible for my site itself to provide the profile picture, so that it can still be available via Activitypub? Many thanks!

@flowti I’d recommend the „Avatar Privacy“ plugin.
It does exactly what you’re looking for and is recommend to be used with the ActivityPub plugin. (And don’t worry about the little banner up top it works just fine with the current WP version)
