@amcewen @davidallengreen Apart from the issues in DAG’s blog, the issue that stands out for me is the cost of legal action to get justice and redress. More legal aid, some sort of restriction on costs that can be awarded to the side with the bigger pockets; I don’t know what the answer is but there’s a real equality of arms problem that’s preventing access to justice.

@amcewen @davidallengreen B.A.U.: Trust completely in the (flawed) technology and blame the human. If anyone complains, shoot the messenger, carry on.
We had a very similar situation with our provincial property tax system, lots of people in charge knew it, but it took years of fighting to fix a few simple but major problems in the computer code, that had cost certain ratepayers doubled rates.
