On Friday night we had a #PelotonLiv group #JoyRide around the Wirral.
The weather was glorious and, as ever, we got escorted through their patch by any local kids on bikes.
(We also got escorted through the tunnel back to #liverpool, but that was by a police car )
Our route was the "Wirral Interior" one on this map of rides: http://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/peloton-rides_607319#11/53.3679/-2.9107
@amcewen One of my favourite rides is the the Wirral Loop - despite growing up in the Wirral - I still love going back and cycling around. From the fields and coastal view as along the Wirral Way to the regeneration at New Brighton to the industrial areas around Birkenhead before the woods of Eastham.
@RossA the Wirral loop is great isn't it. Although I need to do more of the South end of it. We did Birkenhead round the coast to Parkgate and back on Good Friday.
On Friday we basically did the "Wirral interior" route on this map http://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/peloton-rides_607319#11/53.3679/-2.9107
Although a few of us got the ferry over from Liverpool and so added a ride from Seacombe along the river to Port Sunlight for the start.
@amcewen That looked like great fun
@cymplecy it was boss!
I wasn't feeling it during the day - had planned to jib it as I had too much to get done. But then realised I could re-jig the day and have an early dart from the office to do the chores I needed to do a home in the afternoon rather than evening. I need to remember I'm my own boss sometimes
