Whenever I stay in a nationwide brand of hotel (for business), one of my first actions is to jailbreak the TV and rescan the channels. I once had no working HD channels because it hadn't been done in so long. Since then I do it as standard.

@UKFilmNerd@mastodon.me.uk@fesshole I do this as well so I can adjust the picture to my liking. It's usually too bright with too much sharpness.
Unfortunately, the chain my work uses has just changed all their remotes with generic versions with less buttons. I can't access the menus needed any more.
