@dougiec3 Yeah, the last Government got so desperate for anybody even minimally competent that they knighted him just to get him back in by the side door.
@dougiec3 It's quite annoying to see his policies back in again though, the whole austerity thing.
I didn't expect much from the current version of Labour, but they've managed to greatly disappoint me even then.
Throughout Johnson's government, and particularly during the peak of Covid, I regularly argued that when governments enact policies that they KNOW will kill people it should be treated as murder. Especially when those actions are avoidable. My opinion hasn't changed, regardless of who is in power.
