It always seems to me that these disruptor (mostly tech) businesses rely on the fact that they (or a major aspect) of their business is new and the current legislation and regulation is not adequate . So they make a load of money doing dodgy stuff while trying to lobby to delay or prevent legislation from hitting their 'innovation' which is just really a lot of rule bending and dodging.
