Hello, I'm new to Mastodon, so I thought I'd make my #Introduction. I'm a #PlantBased, #humanist, #environmentalist, ex-lexicographer now working on TV #QuizShows. Love #DavidBowie, #suede, #NIИ, #Duran Duran, #Kurosawa, #DouglasAdams, #KurtVonnegut, and Oxford commas. So it goes.

@timeflies interestingly I think the core DNA in both band’s is David Bowie, but obviously coming from it from different ends of the spectrum, with both blend electronic synth layers with guitars. Some DD album tracks are surprisingly gothic, and Trent is does have a great ear for a pop melody, although swathed in waves of glorious industrial noise.

I'm guessing DD's earlier stuff when they were more New Romantic?
Still, trying to marry Piggy and Rio but funnily when I searched for Piggy it found a David Bowie Trent Reznor collaboration
