@burne I was thinking of the D-sub end, but you're right! I wonder if the spare 11 go direct to the NSA or something so they can spy on what you're printing.

@Floppy Actually, the Centronics 101 printer gave a bit more information about what it was doing. No ‘lp0 on fire’ error.
